About tournaments

Currently there are three tournament types with different criteria for climbing up the leaderboard. Team-based tournaments rely entirely on what your tribe has achieved as a team, whereas player tournaments are scored on your achievements as an individual.

Player (rank-based) leagues

Player league tournaments are player-based competitions. Finishing a round in a highly-ranked position will gain you more points towards your overall tournament score.

Leaderboard points are allocated as follows (per round):

Additionally, players outside the top 20 who end a round with a minimum of 26 points will be awarded 3 tournament points.

Team tournaments

Team tournaments are tribe-based. We recommend that you organise your team before a team tournament begins. If you plan on creating your own team, you will need to reserve your team's tribe tag before you join the tournament. You can have up to 5 team "founders" who can create your tribe with the tag you have chosen once a round begins. No-one else will be able to use your tribe tag for the duration of the tournament. After a round has started and team leaders have created the tribe, they can invite other players to join them.

In team tournament rounds, you must first have reserved your tribe tag before you are able to make a tribe.

Tournament points are awarded based on tribe ranking at the end of a round:

Player championship tournaments

In Championship tournaments you are awarded tournament points for a variety of different achievements. You can pick and choose which awards you want to go for, or you can try your hand at achieving the lot! You can only win one award per category, and the higher your achievement in each category, the more points you will receive.
